Cut VAT now to help with the cost of living crisis

Neil O'Brien VAT cut vote

Cutting Value Added Tax (VAT) would put money straight back into people's pockets, and the Chancellor could do it at the stroke of a pen.

The refusal of Conservative MPs (including the MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston) to act is a betrayal of all those feeling the pain of soaring prices.

The Liberal Democrats have been asking for a cut in VAT since prices rises started to bite in early March.

We the undersigned call on Neil O'Brien MP to back an emergency cut in VAT to help local people struggling with the cost of living crisis.
