New secondary School for East Kilbride

Growing school rolls and extensive new house building are producing a major school capacity problem in East Kilbride. We should be creating the best learning and environments and not just the biggest.
The existing secondary schools are likely to be at capacity soon - and will be amongst Scotland's 5 biggest schools.
We believe it is time to consider a new Secondary School in the town rather than just expanding Calderglen High and Duncanrig Secondary Schools.
We are calling for a feasibility study to look into the benefits and feasibility of a new Secondary school in East Kilbride.
