Support Wiltshire Lib Dems' plan to bring improve air quality by accelerating the switch to electric vehicles.
The UK has breached its commitment on reducing nitrogen dioxide. The Tory Government admits that 23,000 people are killed by traffic pollution each year.
In Wiltshire, there are 20 places where the average levels of nitrogen dioxide exceeded the legal limit. The worst offending location was Masons Lane in Bradford on Avon. Other areas include Calne and Salisbury.
This is unacceptable and we are asking for your support to look after the health of Wiltshire residents!
Our plan will work with suppliers to build the infrastructure needed to charge electric cars wherever people live. This will mean that Wiltshire Council car-parks will have electric charging points.
