Bus stops on Gosforth High Street

Cllr Phil Hall - bus stopFor over two years, Gosforth residents and High Street shoppers have had to suffer exposure to wind, rain, hail, snow and all other types of weather whilst waiting for the bus northbound from the high street, because the bus stops and bus shelters outside St Oswald's Shop and the local Gym are in different locations. Now, with the increased need for vigilance and social distancing due to COVID-19, there is further confusion as it is unclear which bus stop is actually in operation on a day to day basis.

As another winter approaches, with no sign of action, we the undersigned call upon the Council to act immediately to clarify and remedy the situation.
