Redditch councillors gave themselves a huge pay rise then cut funding to local charities - Tell them this is wrong

The decisions of the council to give themselves a huge pay rise and then cut funding to local charities is wrong.

Leader of the Council, Cllr Dormer (Con) has seen his pay rocket from £11,607 to £24,404 and other members of the Executive have also taken sizeable pay rises - from £4,910 to £11,093.

The move, which costs the council around £60,000 a year comes at a time when the Council has voted to cut funding to the voluntary and community sector by £84,000 this year.

The council is at risk of bankruptcy but they can still find the money to give themselves a pay rise!
