Wiltshire Council want to move Salisbury Library. There are plans to move the city's library to a new space within a development on the site of the former British Heart Foundation shop on Fisherton Street.

Salisbury libraryThe new library is approximately 70% smaller than the size of the current library. Where will the computers, the reference library and Young gallery go?

This move will potentially cut the services the library offers and it may not be long before the library is closed altogether. We can not allow this to happen.

We the undersigned call upon Wiltshire Council to abandon their plans to move Salisbury Library from its current location.
